Burundi Diaspora: Burundians in Netherland gathered for help each other

Burundi Diaspora in Netherland gathered in the objective of helping each other and valorization of Burundian culture abroad as it is in their country birth.

Known as Burundi Diaspora in Netherland, BDN in English acronym, it’s an association which groups some Burundians who live in Netherland, who put their efforts together in other to help each other. Their objective is based on Burundian culture restoration in Netherland Burundian society.

In interview given by the president of the association Mrs. Joselyne NDIZEYE to peace FM station, she recalled some projects already realized since March 2018, the formation date of the association. It is for example a house construction of Simon BIZIMANA disappeared in jail, for other projects, as Burundi Diaspora in Netherland (BDN) is under Burundi Diaspora Forum FODIB in french acronym, they realize them together. The projects are helping Burundian refugees of Nduta in Tanzania, in Uganda as well as in Rwanda.

According to the president, they have several projects toward Burundian refugees, but which will be communicated by FODIB administration. Mrs. Joselyne ended her interview by advising Burundian youth refugees to study, apply other’s development model. May this occasion should be the example in other to end that kind of situation in Burundian history. She quoted scoutisme founder Baden Powell try to leave this world by making it better than before. It will be also accomplishing God’s will.

Burundi Diaspora Forum groups associations of Burundi Diaspora in European countries as Belgium, France, Denmark, Sweden, Netherland and Norway.
