Azimio Unveils Manifesto

Azimio la Umoja and one Kenya Coalition unveiled their party manifesto at the Nyayo National Stadium where the presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga listed a ten-point agenda to spur an economic revolution in the country.
Odinga said the manifesto was his contract with Kenyans and the declared that the fight on graft, social transformation and good governance were key priorities to his government within the first 100 days.

The Former Prime Minister who was last Sunday cleared by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to run for the top office promised to put up far reaching deliberate measures to weed out corruption and inculcate good governance in public sector.

He enumerated his vision for the country pegged on the ten-point agenda including the Azimio la Ugatuzi that push for allocation of more resources to the devolved units.
The “Baba Care” which guarantees a universal health coverage and the free education to all Kenyans featured prominently in the manifesto that prosed to address key economic sectors including the agriculture, manufacturing, job creation, women empowerment and provision of social amenities.
The Coalition running mate Martha Karua and key party principals including wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka graced the colourful occasion.
