Kenya’s Covid-19 caseload rises to 37,489 after 141 new infections

Kenya has recorded 141 new Covid-19 cases from 3,307 samples tested in the past 24 hours. This brings the country’s total caseload now at 37,489.

Making the announcement at the Thika Level Five Hospital in Kiambu County on Thursday afternoon, Health CAS Mercy Mwangangi also revealed that 81more patients have been discharged after recovering from the disease, raising total recoveries to 24,334.

 

Dr Mwangangi also announced that five more patients have succumbed to Covid-19, raising Kenya’s death toll to 669.
